Description

A large antique cast iron horse drawn plough made around 1900 probably. The maker was EH Roberts and this model is the Mephisto. Condition is only fair: structurally it's mostly ok but all the moving parts are seized (though not terribly rusted so probably sortable); the tines where the handles went are damaged or missing. A fair bit of rust on it though doesn't seem terminal. Various layers of paint on it in very worn state. This could very possibly be renovated into a working piece if that was required but currently it's an interesting display piece. Dimensions: 304cm x 70cm x 70cm
